Kristian Balle, D.O., FAAD
Dr. Balle is a board certified dermatologist by the American Board of Dermatology. He is a native of Salt Lake City, Utah and completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University with a bachelor of science degree in nutrition.
He earned his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine – Bradenton and then completed an internal medicine residency at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in Corvallis, Oregon. While there, he led a team that created a protocol for the treatment of hospitalized patients with cirrhosis and also worked as an attending hospitalist. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
He completed his second residency in dermatology at Samaritan Health Services – Silver Falls Dermatology in Salem, Oregon where he served as chief resident.
Dr. Balle appreciates all aspects of dermatology, with a special interest in hidradenitis suppurativa and the diagnosis and treatment of skin cancer.
Prior to his medical training, he lived in Uruguay and remains proficient in Spanish. He enjoys playing tennis and exploring Arizona with his family.
