Hyperhidrosis

Hyperhidrosis is a disease characterized by sweat in excess of the amount needed to keep the body cool. It affects at least 176 million people worldwide (approximately 3% of the population). Areas normally affected by Hyperhidrosis are hands, feet, underarms, head or face.

Treatments include, but are not limited to over the counter and prescription antiperspirants, iontophoresis, oral medications, and Botox injections. To correctly diagnose and treat Hyperhidrosis, it is important to see a dermatologist.
